Sunday Dinner
Grilled salmon with Caramelized Lemon
Hey friends,
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, father figures, and anyone celebrating with family today.
As cliché as it might be, one of my favorite places to be on Father's Day is standing by a grill. It's a little more relaxed, the kids inevitably wander over to see what's going on, and here in Seattle, we don't take sunny days for granted. This time of year, any excuse to get outside and eat a meal in the fresh air is a good one.
That's exactly why this grilled sockeye salmon is on my Father's Day menu.
A great piece of salmon, a little olive oil, some salt, and a hot grill. That's really all you need. It's simple food, but that's kind of the point. Simple ingredients and minimal fuss!
Whether you're behind the grill today or enjoying someone else's cooking, I hope your day is filled with good food, good company, and maybe a little sunshine.
